About a year ago when I was getting my hair cut my stylist sprayed something in my hair, tosseled it around some, and made me look great. She told me she had sprayed my hair with Sea Salt Spray and recommended I get some to add some texture to my pin straight hair. Despite intending to buy it, I never did. I don’t do my hair all that often besides washing, conditioning, and drying, so it never became a priority. The fact that there was a sample of Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray included in my February Influenster box couldn’t have been better since it’s something I’ve wanted to try, just.. never did. Isn’t that what Influenster is about? To expose us to new things we want to try?
I’ve been using it a lot in similar ways that my stylist did. I dry my hair. I spray it in my hair. I fluff my hair around. And then I have some texture. I like the scent of the spray a lot which is actually reason enough to use it.
I don’t think I’ve been getting the best effects of it though, so I’m watching youtube tutorials on how to get some gorgeous looking beach waves.
Here are some links on how to use it (since I am not a hair stylist and had to learn myself):
Not Your Mother’s sells a ton of different hair products. I’m going to have to try some of the other products they have, including the shampoo since that really is the hair product I use most.
